What’s a microclimate? 🧐
Have you ever gone to the toilet on a chilly morning, and when you placed a foot on the tiles, it made your feet AND the air feel cold?
That’s a microclimate! A small area where the climate feels different from the surrounding environment (like your toasty room)
Now let’s take a step outside... Have you got a backyard that’s way too hot or cold? You can create a mild microclimate using fences, rocks, plants, ponds, and more!

Curious about growing oregano 🤨? Here's our 3 take aways 🙌 ☝️Grows like a ground cover and is easy to take cuttings from as the roots are fairly close to the surface. ✌️It has a bold flavour like rosemary so use it mostly cooked and in similar dishes like pasta, soups, meats, roast vegetables, etc. 👌A lot of cultures use it dried as this mellows its flavour and cuts down on its strength a little.
I’ll add it to some olives I marinade with olive oil, garlic and black pepper.
There are also many other uses of oregano! Maybe you know some 🤓 please share them below 👇 ...
