I NEVER diffuse on cold or no heat ⁣
⁣
Why ? ⁣
Well first off ... I don’t got time for that 🤣 ⁣
But truthfully diffusing On cold makes my hair go flat. I thought this was how I was supposed to diffuse early on for that “extra shine” and total “hair health” but The more I tried it the more I hated my results. ⁣
For my fine hair , the longer it stays wet , the more limp and stringy it becomes. ⁣
Diffusing on a cooler / no heat temp setting takes my hair almost triple the amount of time to dry , therefore leaving me with virtually zero volume. ⁣
I normally diffuse until 90% dry , air dry a short time and then hit it with some heat again before I SOTC. ⁣
I also use medium heat temp on my dry hair to refresh it and help bump up the volume. ⁣
I think a steamer would do my hair wonders but I Havnt invested in one quite yet. ⁣

Mostly the rule of thumb for Damaging heat is ... if you are diffusing and have to pull away because your scalp is burning... it’s too hot ! ⁣
Low to medium heat for most is still perfectly fine when it comes to drying your hair. ⁣
Just make sure to move the diffuser to a new spot every 10-20 seconds 💕 ⁣

Life on the road has been good to me 🏔

For those who find it hard to maintain their fitness goals while travelling:

Maintaining a training and nutrition regime can be tough on the go. The lack of routine that comes with being on the go can make it seem easier to put off goals until you’re home.

But why should you have to choose between the 2?
Here are a few keys that help.

▪️Prep as many days food as you can store, or have a way to cook fresh. Avoid having to find healthy restaurants on the go. 
A good tailgate grill/bbq is a fairly cheap purchase and makes this a breeze. Combine it was a cooler (especially one that plugs into your vehicle) and This will also cut down your costs big time compared to dining out.

▪️if you don’t have access to gyms along route, pack enough to get it done on the road: kettlebells offer a diverse option. Chain gyms often have a multi gym offer, so finding one in multiple locations can help.

▪️Utilize a quick workout as a way to get the body moving on a pit stop from driving. Will also help to keep you alert and energy higher. Even just a bodyweight circuit.

▪️your daily intakes will likely vary significantly on days of driving vs days of activity. Account for it.

▪️Consider supplementing aspects of your nutrition to make sure you’re not lacking. This decreases the volume of foods you have to pack.

Protein is the #1 thing I recommend for anyone looking towards supplements, and it is an especially useful option on the road because it can be hard to get enough protein through food.

Be aware that there are 2 options when it comes to choosing proteins though. 
The first is a post workout, fast acting protein, meant to help muscles recover after tearing.
The second is a heavier, slow digesting, meal replacement protein.

I utilize both types of proteins on the road. @1stphorm is my brand of choice to ensure I’m still fuelling my body, regardless of where or at what altitude. They’re transparent on just what you’re getting in their products, and they deliver on them.
