Day #9 /21 - With this young male leopard with a Gnu (Wildebeest) kill right next to Mara Eden Safari Camp!
We had just landed into the Mara for our wildlife safari adventure & en route to camp from the airstrip we had already gotten a Vareaux Eagle Owl right next to the airstrip & really loved the luck at which we started the trip. We were just about to reach the camp, say about a km away and we bump into this Leopard, son of Bahati (The leopardess) with a young Wildebeest kill. He was gorging on it within this thick bush with the only opening where we positioned ourselves to capture some intense frames (not for the light-hearted). The light was getting quite low when he decided to sit up and look at us, that where this frame is from. The very next day in the morning we came to this same spot to find him there & as if he waited for us, he then picked the carcass up the tree, well that frame is for another post
