Luoto is a piece which is inspired by vernacular Finnish design and the ancient method of letting a material communicate how it wants to be used. We spent the summer picking up rocks, cutting them in half and drilling holes in them. Little by little we started to identify the rocks that have the best potential and those have become candle holders. #puhdety ö #hdw2019 📷@ainohuh ...

Did you spot the magical Respiration Field installation by Teemu Lehmusruusu and Artek at Erottaja 2? 🔮
The installation consisted of five measuring chambers hand-shaped of glass, some soil, selected plants and a dedicated solar power plant. 🌡It measured the CO2 balance produced by the soil respiration and the photosynthesis of the plants. 🕯The chambers make sounds and light up during the measuring according to the CO2 balance at that moment.
