✨NEW blog post✨ All about my schedule as an Emergency Medicine Physician 👩🏻⚕️
We see the sunshine sometimes 🙊 but are naturally equipped to work at any time of the day. Or should I say trained (it’s anything but natural)!
I’m talking about the hardest part of the emergency department schedule, how many shifts I work, and how long they typically are, all on the blog at DrMajestic.com (link in bio).
For the healthcare workers out there:
What’s your favorite time or shift to work? ...
Lying there in all silence leaving behind a roar of wisdom & knowledge of God, lived a life worthy of living which reminds me of what Paul says- For me to live for Christ and die is gain! What a life, what a character & what a submission ! To all who love him and weeping over this loss, to respect him is to honor the ONE who called him! All this sermons always pointed to one fact that Christ is the redeemer ! What an Undivided destiny 🔥🔥 It chills me to think of the grand welcome in heaven that this Man of God got for I know it was the moment he saw the love of his life - Jesus and might have been awestruck at his beauty ! Who knows he must have joined heavenly beings in adoring the Great I AM! Looking at lives like this makes me feels how less a gain I have been on earth for my king ! With all respect, love & honor - Ravi, you are in the best place you ever travelled ! We all long & hope to soon be part of !🔥🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 #ravizacharias#rzim#life#well#lived#hallelujah#praise#jesus#loveyou#worship#journal#god#islove#faithful#healer#soulfood#father#church#saviour#joy#happiness#lordoflords#divine#blessings#pray#prayer#goodmorning ...
Are we on the other side of COVID-19? 🦠
People are asking me this question, over and over again.
I know that we’ve seen progress, and are slowly creeping towards rebuilding our economy and society.
This isn’t meant to imply that COVID-19 is done and over with. But we are starting to reopen our country and humans will be interacting with each other once again.
I know so many of us are absolutely dying to see family and friends and the isolation period has been so challenging.
There are celebrations to be had, events to reschedule, hugs to be shared.
But I can’t help but wonder if people will soon forget what we went through together.
I know those who lost loved ones won’t forget. I know those on the front lines won’t. Those essential workers who haven’t had a break or time at home, will never forget. And those who were affected by the disease and recovered, will certainly never forget their time in true isolation.
I don’t like to be negative or spread fear, but I’m asking you to remember that it’s not just about us all going back to work or school, and seeing our loved ones in celebration. You don’t have to be sad or scared. You should just continue to be aware.
Let’s go back to a society that doesn’t act without poise. One that doesn’t shame each other for this or that. A society that gracefully remembers that not everyone in this pandemic has had the same experiences or holds the same beliefs, and this should be respected.
I love my job for a lot of reasons, but perspective has been one of its most unexpected gifts to me. Fortunately (IMO), this virus has allowed us ALL to gain perspective about how lucky we are to be alive and well. So I’m hoping we can just roll with that, instead of going back to and fast paced ways full of demands, expectations, and entitlement.
Slowly but surely we will rebuild. But let’s rebuild ourselves internally too💓
How are you all doing out there? What are you seeing in terms of reopening where you live? ...
