@frances_quinn Chocolate almond pine cones for cakes and Christmas et al! Have been getting lots of lovely messages on the back of me featuring them in some of my recent bake and work shop posts. So I thought I’d share a little film capturing the making of them. They’re actually a lot easier to make than you think and require just three components. Chocolate ganache, flaked almonds and a chocolate mikado poky stick (I get through as many of these as pretzels🙈FYI pretzel sticks also double up well as both edible pinecones and twigs👍) There’s a full written method of how to make them in my book #QuinntessentialBaking But like I’ve discovered via my workshops and demos, it really helps to see them being made. Am actually inspired to crEATe some extra special and sparkly festive pinecones which I will of course share the making sof. In the meantime I hope you enjoy making these chocolate almond pinecones, as much as the chocolate button pretzels! Both make great edible Christmas gifts to give away and decorate bakes with. Especially if accompanied by a gingerbread biscuit🐿 🦉🦔#quinntessential #crEATes #chocolatealmondpinecones #festivegiftsedd
